Winning a title game with two 3’s is wild, especially in today’s game. Old school free throw shooting got it done.

When you're trying to figure out the value of these DT prospects, make sure to remember that the final four teams this year all employed Byron Murphy, Leo Williams, Milton Williams, Christian Barmore, Kobie Turner, Poona Ford, Zach Allen, and D.J. Jones Math changers.

@lindsay_rhodes I liked and then immediately un-liked this as it’s a nightmare. Sending positive vibes and looking forward to catching up in Indy

Update: I am back at the airport, 3 1/2 hours before my next flight and the bag I requested at 2:30pm “has not been found” as of 7:45. Meaning… they *have* a record of it being requested but do *not have* a record of it moving since then. There are hundreds of bags at baggage. Mine is, according to the “airline baggage claim check scanner guy” not one of them. But at least bags are still coming down the chute constantly, right? Could appear at any moment? Nope. Haven’t seen 1 come down since I got here. It’s fine. I’m fine. 😬

Arrive at airport today for flight to Senior Bowl. Get notification that my flight is delayed as soon as I get through check point. (Have suspicions they may have known sooner, but whatever, I’m here and excited to get to Mobile and scout the future of football. Who cares about a delay. Yay.) Delay is only an hour, so I find a seat close to the gate. Make friends with ppl who have been trying to leave for DAYS. 🚩 Another notification: flight delayed another hour. (More time to study players! This is fine.) Then another half hour. (I see where this is going now, can we just ⏩ to that announcement & get on with it?) Another half hour. I leave to get food. Arrive at opposite end of terminal, get notification: Flight is canceled. (Told you.) That’s all the notification says. No information about what to do with that, just “no can do.” So I walk back to get more information. Line is formed at check in gate. As soon as I get in it, agent loudly announces she’s off and while she’s sorry, this will be her last customer and she’s leaving. “How do we get our bags?” I ask loudly. (I can’t be the only one wondering this. You’re welcome, everyone else.) “Go to baggage and ask for it to be brought down.” So I travel the mile (seemingly) to baggage claim. (Bradley terminal, LAX. IYKYK) See no signs for a baggage service office. But there is an “information” desk. Ask lady there where baggage assistance is. She asks me what kind of “assistance” I need. (With a special emphasis on the word “assistance”, leading me to believe I did not choose the right word.) I explain to her that my flight was canceled and I need my bag back. Woman scrunches up her nose and squints her eyes in a way that conveys “bless your heart and fuck you” all at once & asks me “what airline?” (How could I have been so stupid as to not include that in my initial query. Want my gate information and seat assignment too? Or is that the only detail I was supposed to know was pertinent?) I answer. She tells me that I need to walk to a *different* terminal where all of the bags from that airline go. (Duh, Lindsay. Obviously the bags don’t come to the terminal where you ARE.) More involuntary exercise. Arrive at other terminal. Find clearly labeled baggage service office. Perfectly nice lady tells me my bag will come out on carousel 1. In about 3 hours. “Probably.” Ask me if there’s a single bench in the baggage claim area. (Don’t. You know the answer.) So, I’m going home for a couple hours. Will be back to take a red eye- (can’t sleep on planes, so I apologize in advance to anyone I meet on Tuesday)- on a different airline, in a different terminal. But first, I get to come back to this terminal to get my bag, which may or may not be here. And if it’s not? 🤷🏼‍♀️. Hope you’re having a good day. 🤗

The Rams utilized play action just twice in the first half. Stafford went 2-2 for 65 yards. That 11.8% play-action rate would be their lowest in a game this season. Stafford led the NFL, using play action on 36.0% of dropbacks.

NEW for NFL+ I broke down how the Patriots used a few variations of the Slant-Flat concept to create explosives and touchdowns against the Texans.

Convinced Cignetti ran on 3rd down because he wanted to go for it in 4th but didn’t get enough yards to get in go range

Actually would have been better for Miami to give up another two yards there so it’s 1st down rather than 2nd & 1

Good time to callback how going for it on 4th down can be beneficial.

If you’re going to kick the FG here, Cignetti should have taken a delay of game rather than using a valuable timeout

Caleb Williams threw his game-tying touchdown pass to Cole Kmet from 26.5 yards behind the line of scrimmage. No quarterback since 2016 had completed a pass from a depth of more than 22 yards. #LARvsCHI | #DaBears
