Buddy has a whole PHD but prefers Black Americans believing that their extraterrestrials over fighting for lineage based reparations 🤦🏾‍♂️ And yes, this is a real reparations conference in 2023 and this is the type of conversations Pan-Africans entertain and apparently miss smh
Philosopher-King Miron 👑@eihtbeezy

The online conscious community imploded and instead of pseudo African history, Nuwabian theories of aliens, and pseudo biology about the magic of melanin, all we get now is ADOS and FBA revisionist history and anti-immigration sentiments on the black side of social media. SMH

@BlackPowerBA @Jack_yBlack @8a6yM @madeyawook FOCUS!! I said If you think Grime isnt black british culture because it uses one element of American music than Hip Hop isnt Black American culture because it uses element of Jamaican music. I think Hip Hop is black American culture and Grime is Black British culture

@K_Willzzz @Jack_yBlack @8a6yM @madeyawook Stop being obtuse. The slang and entire concept of toasting. Cadence and all. Jamaicans speak English as well stop the bullshit. Jamaicans got the idea from emulating Black Americans
SOULBLACK@BlackPowerBA

@Ras_Tafari_DNA @WillOnCode @tariqnasheed So here is Coxsone Dodd explaining how he came up with the idea to toast on records with Matchuki….and the video below is Matchuki saying where he got the idea from…..

@NECO_1nonly @discokingmario1 @8a6yM @Domthgreat @grok See, you have to diminish the direct influence to feel better about that fact. Not only did they play the blues, they used it, and were infatuated with it. they were emulating Black American music all throughout Reggae and Dancehall music era as well brother. No similarities?
SOULBLACK@BlackPowerBA

@zeeuntitled @Cee_Artist @NaijaGuy13 Jamaican genres are rooted in Black American music too. There would be no Ska, rocksteady, or reggae if it weren’t for Black American music and artist being emulated by JAs…

@BlackPowerBA @discokingmario1 @8a6yM @Domthgreat @grok This level of entitlement...you don't get to take credit just because they played blues the first couple years, yet still that has absolutely nothing to do with the culture or else there would be similarities which there is none whatsoever...

@NECO_1nonly @discokingmario1 @8a6yM @Domthgreat @grok Are you denying that Black American music and culture is at the root of JA Ska and Reggae, and toasting. You’re saying Jamaican sound system culture wasn’t birthed off listening, trading and obsessing over Black American records?
SOULBLACK@BlackPowerBA

In this video here JA elders speak of how the music being played at the beginning of Dancehall culture in Jamaica, was all Black American RnB. Coxsone went to America and came back and started the sound business. He would scratch out the names of records so rivals could buy them.

@discokingmario1 @8a6yM @Domthgreat @grok Like I said, a credible source...hating ass niggas putting snippets together to paint a narrative doesn't count...seeing y'all trying to take credit for something that was engineered and built in Jamaica is funny as hell

What’s wrong with the “Chitlin Circuit?” 🤔
JP@everybdylovesjp

@HenriettaSnacks Danielle gives a chitlin circuit vibe when she acts. She isn’t nuanced at all. It would’ve gotten real slave-ish.

Not only is Ebony a name of a Black magazine that was established in the 1940s, it is also a common Black American name similar to Amber This is one of the problems with ppl who are not BA trying to speak for us bc how you hear the word Ebony and immediately think of Porn 😂

What professionals are you talking about? Internet articles who are clearly misrepresenting his father moving to the Bahamas? Like you? post the sources. I’ll post the actual entry of what James Weldon Johnson wrote in his actual Autobiography, first few pages. You never read it.

The professionals that gathered the information says he is Bahamian. Professionals know that a single census entry isn't proof that a citizen is American born. Immigrants complete the census too and they write in whatever the fawk they want. Where is the 1870 census? 1860 census? He is a freeman, how he just materialized on one census? Yall been arguing a week and aint Prove your statements yet

Many of these museums have moved away from a focus on Foundational Black Americans & our contribution to Heritage America to a globalist focus on Africa & the African Diaspora. American tax dollars should only go to museums focused on our own heritage in America not globalism.
Heritage Foundation@Heritage

Looking to learn about African American history? Don’t count on the National Museum of African American History. It earned a C grade in our Guide to Historic Sites for its poor historical accuracy. See the details and how other sites performed at historicsites.heritage.org.

Camille Corbett argues that ADOS are often “agents of whiteness” and shares how she found community with black folks in the UK who were mostly either African or Jamaican (like herself) and not the descendants of slaves — people who don’t quite know where they’re from. 🙄🙄🙄
Camille Corbett@TheWittyGirl

The fact that I created a horror film about how African-Americans consider other Black people beneath them and so many people tried to gaslight me and say they viewed Jamaicans as equals and Black….anyways stream my movie the Island.
