Many Celtic supporters were in the stands backing Cape Verde during the Spain vs. Cape Verde match at the #2026WorldCup in Atlanta. The supporters are said to be members of a local Celtic Supporters Club that backs the team because Henrik Larsson's father was from Cape Verde.

I think McInnes is a fantastic manager for us at this point. We’ve tried the foreign approach, it’s not worked. Knows the club, knows the expectations. Time will tell but need to back him and get behind him.
