I want melee combat to feel as weighty as possible, so I've begun working on a system that prevents blunt weapons from cleanly passing through enemies so the impact can be felt. Some polish is needed, but this video shows the difference between sword and mace impacts so far:

I owe an explanation for the delay. My main protagonist, Theseus, disappeared for several weeks. Found him wandering through the Polis streets, strinking drunk, smashing pottery and accosting passerbys. I've since retrieved him and we're working on a plan to move forward.

Lyerion is a few ~weeks away from a public playtest. It will be totally free to play. ($0). It is a VR implementation of a MUD-like multiplayer RPG, set in a distant classical past. A bit like Skyrim VR, with a few MMO-like bits, but not quite a full MMO. Life got very busy these past few months, but I am very excited to share it with you all! I will be talking more about the game in the coming days.
