@goofonroof @joecgray But to David’s point these things don’t happen if tracks would get a simple app. Owners and trainers both have their own passcode , you can enter Horses on there, claim horses on there, deposit and withdraw money, etc. Racing offices are 50 years behind the times.

@BoneBob @joecgray That seems a bit over officious. You sure is wasn't the written out spelling and not the actual signature? Sometimes as you know Bob. Trainers will sign a bunch of claim slips and have them in their office in case an owner wants one when they're out of town. SHAKY void IMO. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♀️

And don't misspell a horses name by one letter even though you only one in claim box=voided

@goofonroof @joecgray I had one voided at Delaware because they said my trainer, Danny Velasquez signature wasn’t clear. They said the last letter of his signature looked like an “S” not a “ Z”. Nothing funny going on there 🤦‍♂️

@joecgray That's a rule that must be enforced even if there's only one claim in the box. There's a checks and balances that makes it virtually impossible to get wrong. I've known trainers who messed it up on purpose when forced to drop on a horse they didn't want. Lot's of variables.

@RiderDavey The racing industry is in 1976 in licensing , entering horses, putting money in or withdrawing from accounts , reviewing inquiries, rules, condition books, and much more. Each track with their own hurdles to get around. Nothing will change with the industry so fragmented.

Why do most racing jurisdictions make It so difficult for owners to get licensed, and even when you get all the needed paperwork and fingerprints etc they tell you, you can’t pay over the phone. I thought we were in 2026, well we are but horse racing is still in 1976 I guess!!!

Just a note to all my friends and horsemen I was able to work for and with here in California, I want to say Thank You so much for the opportunity and success we had but for personal reasons I’m moving my tack to South Fla. to be closer to family and friends I grew up with 🙏🏼
