I know I am late to the party, but I finally finished reading the doc and also watched solevs vid. I am just still in shock that there were who used alts story to attack solev and her. The whole point of this is to make state a SAFE community and people sending death threats+

@r1muu_ @makingtsforart @svnflvw3r canu never directly defended d7 or cubical tho. also pls take this with just as much a grain of salt as I am, but d7 has mentioned a few times that the artist removed their own tweets. not saying thats what happened, but i think we should be open to the possibility

@makingtsforart @svnflvw3r I won't add more to the discussion due what the post address, but defending silencing the allegedly "victim" and removing all their response to the accusations, goes far beyond being biased. I wish that you who are supporting these people, please DNI with me anymore. Thank you!

@MrSolev That said, I hope staff also take this as a lesson to consider what the public knows before making *any response*. Responding to accusations with "everything this person said is false!!" only made it more difficult for people to hear you out

@MrSolev Now that I got to watch the full video, I think I owe staff an apology for being so fast to react. While I'll never apologize for being concerned at the initial picture (and I think D7 was misguided as opposed to malicious intent), I should've still waited a few days to speak out

@onyxiana_ @Nymphiou @MrSolev I badly worded that and gave the wrong message, sorry. Being quiet was the right move. My issue is that some staff did respond early, but they did so by antagonizing people for believing D7 as if there were any other credible pov at the time (again, before the solev doc)

@realKoniri @MrSolev oh so the request was in a group space? this would make *much* more sense, but I really wish solev made this more clear instead of leaving us to put the pieces together

@Boneware_ @MrSolev Zynn wanted to get the art commissioned, but not from this specific artist. They took up the request of their own volition without zynn's prior knowledge

@onyxiana_ @MrSolev @Nymphiou these situations automatically put the accused in a compromised position, so the standard for their initial defense is gonna be high. solev (and some of the other mods especially) should've been much more careful while this doc was still brewing up, but they took it personally

@onyxiana_ @MrSolev @Nymphiou His very first response was along the lines of "everything d7 said is in bad faith, I'll elaborate in a bit." that's the blanket statement im talking about. he couldve just said a response is being made and leave it at that, but starting with antagonization made him look bad

@Nymphiou @MrSolev I 100% agree. Bullying and death threats are way too far. The unfortunate thing is that there was radio silence from most staff for *days* and that made it impossible to draw the line of who's involved, let alone to trust any staff not to retaliate for calling out zynn

@MrSolev @Nymphiou I saw your explanation afterwards, my bad. I agree that d7 made a reckless blanket statement by labeling the whole staff team as pedos. But I think your mistake was making the vague blanket statement in return that *everything* he said was false/malicious

@Boneware_ @MrSolev From how I'm interpreting this, after zynn had learned that the artist had gone and made that art that she wanted to get commissioned, she wanted to try and compensate the artist for it given she would have otherwise had to pay upfront from a different artist

@MrSolev @meffrnt1212 tbf, assuming D7 really believed what he was saying,then in his pov that would make it reasonable not to trust staff to handle this. if I thought state had a pred for 2 years without intervention, I wouldn't trust the report system either

This is the first instance of the Zynn report being brought up since the most recent two cases of escalation. We utilized these recent cases to look back and correct our previous mistakes. While Director7 was the cause for this revisit, it would have been the result following any community member's inquiry. We state "due to community concerns" to be more transparent - as Director7 never reported this to us, which would have caused the same outcome. The problem is that the reinvestigation of the case was off of the basis of Director7's lies about the case (the ban was not related to pedophilia, just policy with punishment escalation), as well as the team somehow defending pedophilia. This is more covered in the video, however in approaching it the way he did, he not only levied false allegations against the users in this route, but actively has resulted in numerous victims being afraid to report actual instances of this. In that case, Director7 was wrong on all counts. We are taking accountability, as well as demonstrating transparency by saying in reinvestigating these reports we had found a discrepancy, but not on Director's claims.

@Nymphiou @MrSolev sorry, I feel bad for whoever wasnt involved but I don't think anyone should apologize for questioning the staff when it seemed for a while like they were just keeping things quiet. it says a lot that they only re-evaluated zynn's punishment after the backlash

@MrSolev Also sending a lot of support to the state/solev mods for everything that happened. No one deserves that much hate and hurtful comments, especially since they were totally not involved in it. Its disgusting. Hope you're all okay.
