Mortdog is stepping away from posting and streaming saying the haters won People were annoyed saying you had to get info from his stream or posts -- well now we don't get any of that. We get less communication, info, and interaction with the devs. Massive TFT community L

not to be barbie but how do you guys cope with the growing sense of dread that the world is legitimately going to end in our lifetimes and everything you know and love will collapse into chaos

Esports casters stabbing each other in the back over who gets a liquipedia page first just goes to show that the theatre kid still hasn't left some of us

The caster scene is falling apart right now. Orgs have been allegedly using Liquipedia points as a means of paying casters. Casters have been offering work for free to undercut other casters in the middle of negotiations. 10s of thousands in prizepool tournaments demanding free or below min wage work. As a means of developing Tier 2 talent within not just Rocket League but all of esports, there needs to be some standards and ethics in place so people are protected. But with the state that the industry is in right now that just seems unlikely. It's already incredibly hard to develop yourself to the point where you can get these opportunities. But now you're also battling against shady orgs, and now your fellow casters. Casters aren't just there to talk over the game. They turn what otherwise would be a VOD or screaming reactions into a coherent product that tells a story and narrative. They turn the game into an esport. If we don't give a chance for casters to develop, due to shadiness, the next generation will look bleak. Remember that some of your favourite casters today started off somewhere, and built up the scene together. I just wasn't expecting casters to turn onto each other tbh. Shoutouts to the orgs who can see the bigger picture though and give talent a chance to develop into something special and see them for their value. You know who you are and I appreciate you.

Pretty bummed. I think it's a sign that the decision makers don't fully understand and appreciate the Overwatch community and its history I want to do one final goodbye @SFShock Invitational Tournament with players from across all of the different eras... who would watch that?

The weekly pizza has arrived. We’re grateful to our overlord @PowerAntwone007. 🙇
