People should be against these things. ICE has only been around since 2003. Its function is to enforce the criminalization of movement per labyrinthine and draconian guidelines. The continued existence of these things doesn't just allow for a backdoor to fascism. It's an archway.

No one’s against ICE or immigration enforcement. They’re against ICE being comprised of fascist high school bullies who couldn’t cut it in the military and think that shooting pastors in the head with plastic bullets, for no reason, is acceptable.

They won't go to The Hague. The US has official language that says they will BOMB The Hague if they or their allies r brought there. We have 2 create an economic system where the ppl democratically control the profits we create. Then we have power. Then we can enact justice.

My final piece of reading for the Doom Patrol video is DC Pride: A Celebration of Rachel Pollack (2024), which features a short story where Coagula is finally resurrected.
I don't think she's appeared since this, but I hope the next Doom Patrol series puts her back on the team.

It does feel part of a broader push against the arts. You devalue the work of artists in favour of “content”, and you eliminate the people with the taste to distinguish the work of those artists from “content.”
It’s a perfectly logical business strategy.
