Posting this here to clear up any confusion on my streams and content. YouTube is where you'll find tutorials and ranked sessions, Twitch is strictly for my 1v1ME matches (Streamed between 11AM - 1:30PM) YouTube streams and tutorials aren't on a schedule at the moment. Thank you for your support!

To beat Dhalsim you have to play stubborn and random, so if you beat me I legally get to complain with no repercussions. I don't make the rules.

@Potato93681472 Sim beats Elena, at least for now. But she's really good at whiff punishing in Sims crouch medium punch range. Her movement makes her hard to gauge spacing, especially with her sway special move.

@BreezyManX A but off topic but what do you think of the Sim-Elena matchup?

When playing Dhalsim it's very important to recognize if your opponents are using a preemptive or reactive strategy. Of course they can switch between the two strategies, but players tend to default to one for the majority of the set. In this case the Elena player was looking for whiff punish often so I adjusted to punishing those twitch reactions. By whiffing light kick into heavy punch Sim can bait whiff punish attempts, and with delay air teleport we can bait anti air specials. I've been training myself to recognize which box to put players in and this is a very simple way to recognize strategies. For preemptive players you'll be seeing more things like jump, drive rush, walk in button drive rush cancel, fireball drive rush, neutral skip specials. For those strategies you need to wait and have reactions to counter them. You can also beat them to the punch by having your own preemptive strategy that controls their preemptives (Long limbs, fireballs, and buffers for example)

@TheGiggler84 That's incorrect, the very first thing I do in the round is whiff light kick to bait whiff punish and it was successful. Thats before fireball drive rush, I'm even explaining it in plain text in the clip itself. You must be ragebaiting cuz there's no way youre serious rn

@BreezyManX I get that it’s a good play. It’s just funny the detail you went into in the paragraph and then i see like 3 fb drs before it even shows the wp bait lol

When someone is playing reactive to whiff punish limbs thats the perfect time to chuck fireballs. Sometimes the fireball hits their whiff punish attempt so you can follow it up with a heavy punch to combo. Also the fireball drive rush is after the knockdown I earned from what this entire paragraph is explaining.

I finally beat my curse of never being able to hit 2000 MR on stream. Although I've been able to hit 2K MR for 5 seasons I was never able to perform good enough while streaming. Something about the bright light in my face and knowing I'm being watched affects my performance. But slowly I've gotten more comfortable and it's really starting to get easier. 2100 MR next baby!

@Zaferino1 I had to quit Sagat cuz I was expecting him to have oppressive fireball mindgames, but his identity is closer to a brawler.

Alright its time we address this issue in Street Fighter 6. When a player rage quits or the system disconnects, they punish the winner by deducting points. This game has been out for three years and their system still can't detect which player to punish for a disconnect. I clearly won by the concluding K.O. screen but the system isn't robust enough to count that as a win. Principle matters here, this completely discourages players from trying to hit personal goals.

I had such a good positive stream today, gained a quick 70 MR and called it a night. This month I'm aiming for 2100 MR so I should be streaming almost everyday. Every phase I hit 2000 MR and stop playing but this time I'll be playing past it and see where I land. Lets get it!

@MokhieFGC This means the online system is still flawed, it’s kicking people out from matches due to instability. My internet connection is stable with a stable stream performance as well. I play other online competitive games that never kick me out even after 3+ hour sessions.

@BreezyManX The game does detect who rage quits. Usually if someone rage quits the game will deduct points from the person who left and not affect the other persons points. In this case you got kicked to the main menu, so the DC was on your end, most likely CFN kicking you.

@gamer_fed_gamer Thats not clearly communicated anywhere, either way the system is flawed by not detecting the DC properly. Both ends have lost MR for CFN disconnecting, the only reason I say "ragequit" is because of the convenient timing.

@BreezyManX If you end up on the main menu, sorry to say it was you who got DC. Otherwise the game lands you on the training room or whichever menu you were in last.

@BreezyManX You are getting disconnected by the servers, for the opponent it's you who quit, sometimes it kicks both players out, i've lost hundreds of MR to this bullshit, the servers are not stable at all for this kind of system.

Hey everyone just letting you know I won't be coaching anymore. Finding time to schedule sessions has become increasingly difficult. In my journey to becoming a better player I had to quit YouTube content in order to have time to train, and now I have to stop coaching as well. Its unfortunate but has to be done, above all else I want to become a great player and to do so I need more time.
