covid is oncogenic. the only way to avoid covid complications is to avoid covid. public health is dead. a respirator is your BEST BET at protecting whatever health you have left. 50% of covid cases are asymptomatic. 100% of cases cause long-term damage. what number are you on?

It takes a lot for a person to admit that they’re wrong. It takes a lot more if being wrong caused real harm. And it would take way more than anyone currently in denial of Covid has to admit they fucked up as much as they have. They’re stuck, they don’t have it in them to change.

Another piece of the puzzle. Post-COVID changes are not just an isolated problem affecting a few unlucky individuals. They appear to have consequences at the population level🧵

When people say COVID is “over” I wonder, what definition of “over” includes “perpetually present,” but shushhhhhhh”?

Stalking cases *jumped* when covid arrived. Brain inflammation increases the risk of obsessive behaviour and makes it worse. Covid infection causes brain inflammation. Read the thread below. Seriously. Read it all the way through. *seriously* x.com/i/status/19632…

Six months ago a young man in our local community asked if he could meet me to talk through a problem he was having. We met a few times, and recently I asked him if I could share the basics of his story.

It’s not just anecdotal. There are identified population-level changes in children. If only researchers didn’t keep blaming the damage- without any causal evidence whatsoever - on lockdowns. Institutional denial of C-19 impacts has led to utterly ridiculous misattributions.
Kimiko Shibata 🦋@ESL_fairy

@1goodtern @MamaToronto Also seeing an uptick in obsessive-compulsive behaviours, self-regulation issues, focus/attention issues, mood instability, & cognitive inflexibility in very young children in schools since we let ‘er rip. Correlation is not causation but…

They truly won during the Biden era when they convinced the majority of you to unmask and forget about community care… even though the science and data didn’t and still doesn’t support that choice 🫠😷

😡How utterly sickening and unforgivable: we sacrificed our own children’s hearts to lasting damage and Long-COVID, all in service of pathetic zero-risk SarsCoV2 theatre!💔 "Even in the absence of overt cardiovascular disease, children with prior SARS-CoV-2 infection experience persistent subclinical cardiac changes and symptoms consistent with Long-COVID." internationaljournalofcardiology.com/article/S0167-…

This is what is waiting for all of us now that everyone has normalized multiple COVID infections a year. We have a mountain of evidence that COVID can cause folks to have heart attacks, strokes, cancer, dementia, autoimmune diseases, etc. Very few of us will live to see our 60s.

I believe two things: 1) Covid does profound long-term damage to the human body 2) The majority of people don't have the capacity to take this fact on board This world is exhausting, and a mass disabling virus is speeding us towards a tipping point. I have to live in reality.

My ex is so worried about his cognition as of now that he's considering seeing a neurologist. This is a man who doesn't worry about health things. The things he describes are concerning. The changes in his cognition since Covid are noticeable and substantial. Protect your brain.

“Ministers justified reducing support for people too disabled or ill to work by arguing it would remove the “perverse incentives” that discourage employment and trap people on long-term benefits, as if a twentysomething who is bedbound with ME just needs “incentivising” to get back to the building site” theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
