That distraction is worth billions. If you keep millions of people emotionally hooked on a payroll conversation they have zero leverage over, they won't look at the dirt. Nobody is asking who is collecting the $50 parking fees. You paid for the stadium. You bought the tickets. You paid for the cable package to watch the games on the network they own. It is a real estate play wrapped in a pennant race.
