@TomOatesWSJ I’m going to go out on a limb and say it doesnt really matter where you recruit from if you aren’t very good at developing talent so maybe the whole instate/out of state recruiting thing is a pointless discussion

Luke Fickell looks like he’s finally aligned with what works at Wisconsin. Hard not to wonder: if Fickell had this approach from day one at Wisconsin, are we talking about a completely different start? Did Chris McIntosh force the shift or did Fickell figure it out himself?

@Buck_Around The through-line on the QBs in terms of skill-set, athletic profile is indeed hugely important. Felt like we spent all last season asking an entire offense to execute four different playbooks.

@Buck_Around I will die on the hill that the B1G West wasn't nearly as weak as its reputation.
Look at the all time West vs. East intra-conference crossover record. It's very close.
The B1G West did lack for elite teams. It had a robust middle and few really bad teams.
