People are screenshotting this like it is new and proves posts are limited.
Both are not true.
Author diversity heuristics has always been a thing.
Was always there in the Engineering blog.
It's a pretty simple concept.
If there are say 1000 user views available of people scrolling the timeline to be served content…
It is common sense that if you post only one time, it will get more of those 1000 available views.
Lets say you get 10 of those 1000 views by posting once.
Now what if you posted 100 times in the same scenario.
Those 100 posts views would be split up substantially and the same 10 views would be divied up among them.
You would not get 10 views a post anymore.
Otherwise all 1000 available views would be your posts.
But other people post here too.
And users do not want to see the same accounts posts all day long.
Big accounts can post more per day because they have more followers and get more reach alotted to them.
These concepts are not new and it is mind numbing to see how people do not understand these basics yet want to talk about it and complain about it.
