@BouafifNour We need someone who can help the midfielder with ball progression as a 10. Raphinha works as a runner, so he needs to play as a winger and cuts. I think Lamine should play there.

Fans have been talking about the idea of using Raphinha as a CAM with Rashford on the left ever since Rashford arrived. And honestly, this is the perfect moment to try it. Fermin is injured, Olmo is in terrible form, and we need a creative spark behind the striker. Raphinha has already played as a central attacking midfielder a few times, both for us and for Brazil. Even when he starts on the left, his natural positioning is more like a second striker or someone operating between the lines rather than a traditional winger. So on paper, the role actually suits him. For me, we should test this setup against Alavés, and if it works, then commit to it against Atleti.

This is how I would line up today. Honestly, there aren’t even any tough calls with all the injuries, almost every position has only one reliable option. The only real debate could be at striker, and as I’ve said multiple times, I prefer Lewy over Ferran.
