Me and Mrs Butch have bought our first home! 🏡 We have a little while to wait still as it won’t be ready until Sep/Oct but the house is right for us and worth the wait. This does mean that going full time YouTube is being pushed back a bit. It’s frustrating and admittedly daunting to have another 6 months of doing YouTube alongside a full time job. An effort that has really started to take its toll as I am now in my third year of doing so… But for the past 3 years I have been running a marathon without knowing when it will end. Not knowing if I was going too fast, or too slow. But now I know where the finish line is! And what’s another 6 months when this will be my career until the day I drop! So please bear with me if I am a little grumpy and tired for the next wee while! Thank you all for the support ❤️ EXCITING TIMES AHEAD!!!!!

Back to editing after damn near a month. I’m so back baby. I’m so back.

I *think* Marathon is ok? It kinda feels like watching season 3 episode 7 of a cool looking TV show: You have absolutely no idea what’s going on. UI is confusing PVP seems good (but where is it?) Art style is refreshing Genuinely can’t decide if I like it.

Had a very scary health scare over the past month. I’ve also had close family have a massive operation. I haven’t been able to work on ButchX3 much as my prioritise have been elsewhere But for the first timer ever with no uploads, my channel hasn’t dipped but it’s grown. One upload in nearly a month but it’s maintained. I can’t tell you how much this has helped me. The fear that I’ve had in the past in opening YouTube studio to see red arrows and numbers falling. But when I needed it the most, YouTube maintained. Two things: proudness and gratitude. I’m proud of the content I make. Any video I upload is as relevant in 5 years as it will be today. The variety and quality that each video don’t rely on trends. I’ve laid such a solid foundation. Slow and steady. It takes me so long to make the videos but I really feel they mean something in an ocean of slop. And I’m so grateful for the community. The level of support I’ve seen has been nothing short of eye wateringly insane. As with any creator I’m nothing without them and I’m just so grateful to have so much support on multiple platforms 🙏 From next week things *should* be back to normal. And full time is JUST around the corner 😏
