The Peugeot 205 T16 road car is a rare homologation special produced in 1984, with only 200 units built to satisfy Group B rally requirements.
It features a mid-mounted 1.8-liter turbocharged engine producing 197 bhp, a four-wheel-drive system, and a distinctive wide-body look. The car weighed 1,145 kg.
Engine & Performance: It is equipped with a 1,775cc 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers approximately 197 bhp.
Drivetrain: The car uses a 5-speed manual transmission mated to a four-wheel-drive system.
Design & Structure: While it resembles the standard 205 hatchback, the T16 features a unique chassis with a mid-mounted engine (replacing the rear seats). It has a longer wheelbase and is significantly wider than the standard 205 GTI.
Heritage: Built to compete in the WRC, the T16 achieved immense success, winning manufacturers' titles in 1985 and 1986.
