On the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we celebrate and are proud of all the women and girls of every age who make the CLEANFOREST network so rich and meaningful. Today, 202 members of the CLEANFOREST community, and 12 of the 23 Core Group members are women.

The Wijnendale monitoring site is part of the ICP Forests level II network in Belgium. The Level II intensive #monitoring comprises over 600 plots in selected #forest #ecosystems with the aim of clarifying cause-effect relationships. icp-forests.net

Visit the Baragan site in SE Romania, a long-term oak trial since 1950, to better understand how oak species respond to climate change and predict their resilience. Monitored parameters include tree growth, sap flow, deposition, soil solution and litterfall. @COSTprogramme
