Coastal has since expanded its doctoral offerings, now including a second Ph.D. program in Education Sciences, with nearly 40 doctoral degrees awarded to date.

As Women's History Month draws to a close, we proudly recognize Coastal Carolina University Alumna Leigha Peterson on this Teal Tuesday for her groundbreaking achievements. Peterson made history as the first recipient of a doctoral degree at Coastal in May 2019.
