Restore Catholic education: -primary goal is the formation of saints -prioritize virtue & the supernatural life of grace -traditional prayers/devotions throughout the day -generous access to sacramental life, esp. confession -form students in a culture of reverence & piety

I don’t know how anyone can read the Gospels and walk away with the idea, “If God loves me, I will be rich and successful” The “prosperity gospel” is simply a low IQ imitation of Christianity. Its proponents lack supernatural faith and basic knowledge of Sacred Scripture. Sad!
Pastor Jake Dell@jakedell73

Sin is the root cause of the poverty If the Church of Rome could save sinners, their countries would not be so poor This is not a problem for the Calvinism

@JoelWBerry The Catholic Church literally invented hospitals & hospices for the hungry, poor, sick and elderly.

@holysmoke Why does Hale get the attention he does? It's odd. He's not an impressive or original thinker, writer or observer. He's obviously not concerned with ethical standards of reporting. His writing is high school level, hyperbolic, etc. So why do people give him attention?

The Catholic Left, led by figures like Christopher Hale, once pushed ‘Catholic Spring’ efforts to undermine U.S. bishops and bend the Church to secular politics. Now they accuse the Trump administration of threatening the Vatican. Classic projection of their own misdeeds. The Church belongs to neither left nor right. catholicculture.org/commentary/cat…

When asked how he could be so notoriously unpleasant as a Catholic, Evelyn Waugh replied: 'You have no idea how much nastier I would be if I was not a Catholic. Without supernatural aid I would hardly be a human being.' He converted in 1930, not from feeling but from logic He attended a Latin Mass every week of his adult life He died on 10th of April 1966, sixty years ago today, minutes after returning home from Mass

"Le Crociate furono la risposta a 4 secoli di invasioni, occupazioni, angherie e carneficine compiute dagli islamici. Se oggi abbiamo la libertà, lo dobbiamo anche e soprattutto a quei Crociati, che si fecero massacrare per proteggere un'Europa cristiana e libera. Le crociate furono una controffensiva per bloccare l’espansionismo islamico in Europa". Oriana Fallaci 🇮🇹

Mosques get £18000 pounds each from the government for security. Churches get £199 each. Never forget how much our political elites hate you.

Offer an Ave for the repose of soul of Mario Leon, a Milwaukee Marine & Catholic killed in action in Vietnam in '68. He was only 18. His parents lived well into the 2000s & are buried next to him. The family headstone shows an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. RIP. @44MagnumBlue1

The egalitarian push, a cultural impulse since at least the French Revolution, explains this. Forced leveling, "differences are unfair...the result of systemic whatever..." Remarkable how much sociologically, culturally, politically can be traced back to the disasters of 1789.

I'd argue a lot of ill-conceived trends and outright falsehoods stem, fundamentally, from a denial of natural intelligence It's not that some children are brighter than others. Being a respectable C+ or B+ student isn't good enough. It must be that they have a special need

We now have seven different accounts of what happened between the Pentagon and the Vatican during the January 22 meeting, first reported by The Free Press. All four media organizations differ somewhat in the details, but call the discussions confrontational. All three official accounts call the discussions cordial.

If I had been shamed like this for misrepresenting by the ACTUAL VATICAN, I would retire from public life...but, no, this grifter continues to try to give life to this nonsense...some people have no pride.

Reverence in the Novus Ordo is a good thing. The point is that the benchmarks for what make liturgy more "reverent" always points to what *already exists* in a more cohesive, integrated & theologically coherent way in the TLM, without the confusing modern novelties.
