Solid enough start! Pleasantly surprised by the performance. Looks like Rob Edwards has addressed defensive issues quite quickly. Thought Jones and Ayling were excellent. Good scenes at the end with fans and players and manager which I hope can be repeated regularly. 🙏

I often think about leaving the U.K. But where do you go? Dubai. Monaco, Portugal? 16,500 millionaires will leave the U.K. in 2025 & 10,000 millionaires will move to UAE/Dubai What’s so sad is that the U.K, especially London, used to be THE place in the world to come to Now high crime, no growth, high taxes. @petemorristwit Born and brought up In council housing and my dad died when I was 12… my mum worked 3 jobs and taught me the value of hard work but still got free school meals and that was and is sooo important to so many struggling families. Stop being so entitled and look around you!!!

I simply don't 'get' the school breakfast clubs, and the free school dinners. Why is this even necessary? When I was a lad. We were not rich. I had 5 sisters and 2 brother...So a big family. I never left the house in the morning without 'something' to eat. Always had my lunch money. Why isn't it that way now? Entitlement?

A message I was sent. I’m sharing it anonymously because the truth now has to hide to be heard: “I’m 46. British. Worked since I was 16. Spent 25 years in homelessness services from the street teams in London to running housing for care leavers and vulnerable kids. I was good. Really good. Nominated for a Pride of Britain award. Then we were asked to take unaccompanied migrants. More money for the charity if we said yes double what a British care leaver brought in. I covered a night shift. Heard a noise. Walked in on a migrant on a video call shouting for a Caliphate. Others on screen with him. Holding rifles. I reported it. They moved him. Quietly. I reported it again. Prevent ignored it. Then one of our girls a British 16 year-old reported she’d been assaulted by another migrant. I said enough. I told the charity and the local authority we couldn’t house unknown adult males next to vulnerable children. I thought that was common sense. They called it racism. I was suspended. Investigated. And then sacked. 25 years of service gone. I lost my job. Lost my flat. I became homeless. No priority status. No help. I ended up rough sleeping. I only survived because I went back to my family. But that’s what I got for putting British kids first.” This is what happens when truth becomes hate speech and betrayal becomes policy. We are not the extremists. We are the witnesses. @_TY_97 Genuinely don’t understand Boro fans at times, we did the same with Tav and Isiah Jones and never replaced the passion or commitment (and ability) we always say is sooo important to us. A real talent and so under valued so yeah probably best for him he moves on but not for us…

@DomShawEcho Losing Latte Lath and Doak was key in failing to reach the play offs for me. Even without LL I think we’d have been top 6 if Doak had been available so not as downbeat as some… Lack of pace wide didn’t help so is key for next season along with a solid keeper…

Lowest points total required to finish sixth in Champ since 2013 & #Boro still fell short. Season of underachievement & missed opportunities. Just one point & one goal in last three games when top six door was remarkably still open. Picked up just 5 points from 36 vs top six.

@BBCTeesSport Should definitely be Fry and Van Den Berg at the back, more pace and better organised when they play,.. unfortunately Edmundson gives the ball away when playing out from the back too often as otherwise defends well. Sadly Ayling is clearly past his best this season too…

@Argyle From my time in Plymouth I think the club and the fans are fortunate to have Simon Hallett as Chairman. As a Boro fan we have the same with Steve Gibson and you just have to trust that he has the best interests of the club at heart so will be doing all he can to get it right…
