Wembley, ready. The FA Cup semi-finals are locked in 🔒

Look at Jorrel Hato here. Actually able to drive with the ball, hold people off, and thread a top pass through. Chelsea need technical athletes like him to start games, Cucurella can't do this.

TO WEMBLEY WE GO! 👊 #CFC | #EmiratesFACup

I will say this again: our fanbase is the main reason why developing youngsters is difficult at Chelsea. We are the most toxic in the EPL. We don't believe in giving anyone time, even if he's 17 years old. Once a player makes a mistake, the reaction prevents the manager from giving him another chance. Pep didn't stop Khusanov when he was struggling. At Chelsea, we won't let him. That's why Acheampong is where he is today. The talent is there, but we as fans won't close our eyes to his mistakes and we let him get a good run of games. So, it's not about the coach and experienced players; they help, but regular game time is the biggest catalyst. You can argue all you want but until we understand the meaning of developing players, it will remain the same story.

🚨 BREAKING: Enzo Fernandez agent Javier Pastore says BAN is UNFAIR! “Enzo didn’t understand the situation. When the coach told him, he accepted it because he’s a highly professional guy who’s always fully committed wherever he is and respects decisions, but we don’t understand the punishment because he doesn’t mention any club or say he wants to leave Chelsea” “FAR from it, he only mentions Madrid, the city, because he was asked which European city he’d like to live in one day, and he said Madrid because of the language, because it’s similar to Buenos Aires and because it’s logical – it’s only natural for an Argentine to say that, and also because of the culture, the weather, But at no point does he say he wants to leave Chelsea or London” (@MarioCortegana) nytimes.com/athletic/71691…

🚨 Cucurella wanted to send best message possible to Chelsea as a club and the fans, this was his mission. He wasn’t doing it to be against the club or someone at the club. (@FabrizioRomano)

🚨 💣 Marc Cucurella BOMBSHELL interview “The moment Maresca left, it had a big impact on us. These are decisions taken by the club. If you asked me, I would not have made this decision. To make a change like that, the best thing is to wait until the end of the season.” “I understand this is part of the club’s policy & that they want to take this direction, signing young players and looking to the future. But, for all of us who are still here and want to win big things, moments like this (PSG) make you feel discouraged” “We have a good core of players. The foundations are there. But to fight for major trophies such as the Premier League or the Champions League, you need MORE. Signing young players only might complicate achieving those goals.” (@TheAthleticFC)
