From Slashback, to Roundhouse, to R.I.S.C, Max Mode, Beast in the East, Midwest Mixfest, Central Florida Face-Off, D.I.Y., SQ, C3 & many more, we’re seeing a welcome new era of regional events growing quickly in the US. Find one, or build one, near you and get some games in.

A woman won a Mortal Kombat tournament while holding her newborn in her arms, just five days after giving birth

A lot of the new, younger playerbase doesn't even seem to realize that the big super majors all started as some small grassroots thing, and I think thats part of why a large portion of them seemingly don't see the importance of locals and regionals Old heads remember when the super majors were tiny, and when majors in general looked more like what ppl consider regional-scale today, so we understand the importance of supporting and cultivating smaller grassroots events/communities Whereas a lot of the new gen just doesnt seem to value it as much and that's gonna come back to bite us if this bubble does eventually burst (which it probably will)

Here's a look at some of the Dojo Events that took place last week! Looking for tournaments in your region? Register for #TWT2025, check the schedule to see upcoming events and make your way up the leaderboards! 🔗tekken-esports.bn-ent.net
