Then he brags about going to Whipple protests, No Kings protests, Iran protests, and every other anti-ICE demonstration he can find. He even did an open mic at Whipple to tell his story. And right at the end he signs off with “F**K ICE.” An active-duty United States Marine is using his service, his boot camp experience, and his uniform to solicit donations while publicly attacking a federal law enforcement agency and standing shoulder to shoulder with the same radical left crowd whose daughter just assaulted an American woman on video. @SecWar Hegseth, this is completely unacceptable. We cannot have Marines out here trashing ICE, aligning with domestic terrorists who assault citizens, and then turning around and using their military status to beg for cash. I'm waking up with a headache and stiff neck this morning due to how violently anti-ICE activist, Chris Ostroushko, shoved me down yesterday. A second angle shows that he had to be held back by 5 men as he continued to charge at me. I didn't speak a word to him all day yet he repeatedly called me a bitch and very clearly looks like he wanted to violently hurt me even worse than he did. I'm happy to report that charges will be brought against this man, his wife and daughter.

UPDATE: It looks like Paige Ostroushko has deactivated her Instagram account and is trying to scrub everything about herself off of the internet after her actions yesterday. She and her father's entire social media accounts were called "MN ANGRY FATHER" and "MN ANGRY DAUGHTER". The father, Chris Ostroushko, has blocked me on Instagram and it seems they are trying to do damage control after the entire family's violent actions yesterday.

Every other tax is based on a share of a transaction. You always know upfront what this share will be. Property taxes, on the other hand, are based on a “value” assessed by the same entity levying the tax. Your town or county literally “decides” what your property is worth (assessed value) and then demands a share of it, regardless of your ability to pay. Fail to pay and they take the property for themselves. The model is actually worse than an unrealized gains tax; you aren’t just paying the tax on the gain, you are basically paying a percentage of whatever they decide the value is, every year in perpetuity. That’s why it’s is the most unjust tax. That’s why it should be abolished.

The staffer in the article says she was sexually harassed by Eric Swalwell in 2019. 2019 is the same year Ruben Gallego served as the campaign chairman of Swalwell’s presidential campaign. The notion that Gallego didn’t know what Swalwell was doing to women is preposterous.
