We are addressing registration irregularities and ensuring compliance with federal elections laws here @CivilRights. While prior administrations ignored these important requirements, @TheJusticeDept is working to ensure election integrity and enforce the law!

Clean voter rolls encourage higher voter participation. Under @AGPamBondi’s leadership, the @CivilRights Division will keep pressing states until they disclose and purge inaccurate voter rolls, so every American can have full confidence in our elections.

Prior administrations sued states that tried to clean up voter rolls, contributing to today’s problems. Removing inactive voters and those who have passed is essential. Under @POTUS, @CivilRights is working to restore election integrity so every lawful vote counts once.

Justice Department Sues Five Additional States for Failure to Produce Voter Rolls Today, the Justice Department’s @CivilRights Division announced it has filed federal lawsuits against five states — Utah, Oklahoma, Kentucky, West Virginia, and New Jersey — for failure to produce their full voter registration lists upon request. This @TheJusticeDept just settled with an IT company that used AI-generated job advertisements to exclude U.S. workers from certain jobs.

Whether it is an employee, a recruiter, or an AI tool, @CivilRights will hold employers liable when they engage in illegal discrimination!

School districts, such as LAUSD, that allocate more funds to certain areas based on race are acting illegally. Under @AGPamBondi, @CivilRights will not allow any citizen in our country to be discriminated against in the distribution of government benefits!

Last week—after it became clear that Harvard was not serious about settling with the United States—@CivilRights went to court to enforce our right to review Harvard’s admissions data. @TheJusticeDept will not let schools refuse to cooperate with our federal civil rights laws!
