Oregon's economy is in freefall and all Tina Kotek has offered struggling families is higher taxes and regulations that crush workers, jobs and small businesses. More bureaucrats and meetings won’t solve this crisis. On Day One, we're going to turn our economy around by getting government out of the way and empowering our job creators to stay and grow right here in Oregon.

Dodging accountability and refusing to answer for her failed record is typical of @TinaKotek. After four years of her costly and chaotic leadership, Oregonians deserve a governor who will put them and their families first by lowering taxes, fixing our schools, restoring safe communities and ending homelessness as we know it. The Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association Debate is a longstanding tradition that gives Oregonians a chance to hear directly from their leaders. Kotek clearly doesn’t believe the people of our state deserve to hear from her.

It should concern every Oregonian that over one third (1/3, 33.33%) of the state is receiving taxpayer paid handouts. This is simply unsustainable as the government/public sector jobs are increasing and the private sector jobs are decreasing. Corporations are leaving Oregon in droves. Families are bolting out of Oregon. The tax base is shrinking as the government increases "free" programs and places more and more people on the government/public sector payroll ad nauseum. Social services parasites are destroying this state via the enablement by KoTAX & Ko. 40 years of Democrat Socialist Marxist control has made our state a haven for the users and abusers. The bleeding and the sucking must stop. If you vote for Tina Kotek, you are voting for higher taxes, more "free" programs, and continued circling of the drain. Aren't you all tired of being bled dry? Just look at you and your drunk, mentally ill wife and how you tried your damndest to give her a cushy office, assistant and job title - not much different than Ted's charade of nepotism. I do object to the double standard applied to the benefit of the so-called homeless. Multnomah and Washington Counties have banned all forms of burning including land clearing and even recreational stuff like your backyard fire pit. A single ember could destroy property and put lives in danger. So, why don’t these rules apply double to those who make their homes in homeless shanty camps? I figure it’s politics. The homeless population of Portland makes up less than 2 percent of the population. But the city’s Fire Bureau says almost half of all fires it responds to are caused by the homeless. The homeless cook and heat with fires, both propane and wood. And if a fire threatens to get out of control, where do you suppose they find a garden hose on those tents? I only wish the mainstream legacy media would go out to the homeless camps, show the burn ban violations. Then question officials about why the same rules don’t apply to all of us equally….or are the homeless, like illegal aliens, more equal than others..

Here it is: Tyranny on American soil: Communists, like a virus, have taken root all the way up in Oregon. A ‘quite’ ballot initiative has been introduced in Oregon called “Initiative Petition 28,” the PEACE Act, for the second time. If it passes, it will make it illegal to hunt, fish, or raise animals—even on your own land. In other words: farming on your own fucking land. “They’re going to raid all of our farmers and go after them because they’re trying to quietly pass it and make it so we all have to eat from stores instead of shopping at farmers’ markets and stuff.”

Oregon is bucking the trend on homelessness, but not in a good way. While the rest of the country is getting people off the streets, Oregon’s homeless population rose by nearly 20%, with a 43% increase in our largest county. That means more people suffering from mental health and addiction issues, more crime and more people dying on our streets because they can’t get the help they need. I teach auto shop at a small high school. We work on students cars, teachers cars, students parents cars and some community people cars. We only charge for parts and not labor, so we saved some people a lot of money last school year. This last school year we did 126 oil changes, 68 brake jobs, 85 alignments, 4 steering racks, 22 tune ups, 32 struts, 20 shock absorbers, 4 transfer cases, mounted and balanced 82 new tires, 4 timing chains, 15 valve cover gaskets, 14 thermostats, 4 radiators, 12 in tank fuel pumps, 8 EVAP canisters, 6 exhaust manifolds, 4 mufflers, 15 AC repairs including evacuate and recharge, 8 alternators, 22 batteries, 9 starters and so much more! Proud of those students I am!

Allow me to rephrase this less diplomatically: The billions in "accounting errors" is more than just incompetence. It's massive fraud. Let's make Christine the next Governor of Oregon.

Justice prevailed today. Convicted murderer and child rapist Dustin Wallace will remain behind bars, where he belongs. But let’s be clear: this hearing was only possible because of Kate Brown’s reckless decision to put violent criminals on a path to early release. As Governor, I will stand unapologetically with victims and make public safety a priority once again.
