@CJCHowarth @danielmgmoylan The Green line is patrolled by UNFICYP, not the UK - it includes personnel from many countries. It's not a defensive line against invasion - it's supposedly there to stop inter-communal violence. Which is a little odd given that people cross across daily through the crossings.
