On May 17th, the LKDSB, including CKSS, recognizes the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, joining organizations globally to celebrate sexual and gender diversities and draw attention to the discrimination and violence experienced by 2SLGBTQ+ people.

Congratulations to the improv team!! For the first time in CKSS history the team placed 1'st in the Canadian Improv Games Tri City tournament. The team will travel to Ottawa to play with teams from across Canada at the National tournament!!

It's that time of year, Hawks...Yearbook distribution will be June 13-15. DON'T FORGET!!!

Our annual Arts Banquet is happening Thurs. June 15th! Doors open at 6pm in the Myers Gym. Cash donations accepted at the door. All are welcome to enjoy performances and art work, and celebrate award winners!

Congratulations to the Improv team on their success at the Canadian Improv Games Tri City tournament in Guelph! The team played with heart and entertained the audience. They placed third overall. Way to go!

The Semester 1 Arts Buyout was enjoyed by Gr. 9 and 10 classes, staff, and parents/guardians. It included performances by the Gr. 9/10 Vocal, Gr. 9/10 Dance, Gr. 10/11/12 Instrumental Music, and Gr. 12 Music Computers classes, & the Improv Team!
