I've been doing some self-reflection lately.
1st, I'd like to apologize to anyone for some really bad arguments. It's obvious when I'm up too late or run too ragged. I'm gonna keep it to myself in those situations from now on.

Just wanted to share a little story that’s been on my heart. Someone very near and dear to me married his best friend, a sweet professing Christian who was a virgin, when they were both young. Five years into the marriage, she devastated him and our family by seeking an open marriage, feeling she had missed out on life. She remained unrepentant and the marriage ended in a heartbreaking divorce. Of course, purity is the ideal, but it doesn’t define worth, nor guarantee covenant faithfulness. What matters most in marriage is not someone’s history, but a true profession of faith and the reality of a transformed heart in Christ.

Virginity should not be the #1 factor Christians look for when considering who to marry. Godliness and being attracted to them is. Virginity matters, and it's a blessing from God. It's not wrong to desire someone who is a virgin. And past sexual sin regularly carries present-day consequences. But I fear we've placed virginity on such a high pedestal that it's become an idol for many. The Bible doesn't say that someone "is free to be married to anyone [they want] — only if they're a virgin." It says that someone "is free to be married to anyone [they want] — only in the Lord (aka, only if they're a Christian)" (1 Cor. 7:39). In other words, what matters above all else is that your spouse is a believer, virgin or not. Again, while desiring to marry a virgin isn't a bad thing, it becomes a bad thing if it causes you to miss out on marrying the person who truly matters: the man or woman who's born-again, passionate about Jesus, excellent in the God-given characteristics of a godly wife or husband, and physically attractive to you. And a mature Christian should desire those things in a potential spouse above all else, regardless of the past sins the person may have gone through (though they should certainly weigh out that aspect as well in this decision, since it does matter).

In our current cultural moment, the bar for being a really good minister has never been lower.
1. Love the Word of God enough to not invent sins.
2. Don’t persecute and constantly attack right wing men for these fake sins.
3. Refuse to play the denouncement game.
4. Address the sins of women just like you do the sins of men.
5. Don’t be effeminate or fat.

When I was growing up and again when my kids were growing up reamining a virgin was encouraged. Fornication was considered sin to avoid. And virgin spouses were desired. That is how Christians have seen it until recently. Look how the world has decieved God's people.

"Virgin" is now a slur to the Anabaptists. Don't fall for it. Ignore and move on.

Similar situation here, brother.
My sister had to choose between two men. One had AIDS from being bent over for 15 years from dudes (saved by grace now) and another who was a virgin but used corrupt speech. Thankfully, she has AIDS now because she chose the graceful route.
It’s beautiful because my nephew has AIDS now from the breastmilk it consumed. It’s a daily little wink from God that wisdom is sometimes not the best route, but a great testimony always is. 🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌
