Sean Strickland Vs Khamzat Chimaev is a major event. And everyone’s expecting a Khamzat domination. At -500 odds, you’re risking $500 to make $100. Now Khamzat IS a beast. He’s ran through the division but his early fights were easy style match up’s. His biggest test was Gilbert burns when he chose to use his standup. -He has never faced a heavy hitter like Sean. Usually he’s been tactical and has chose to use his greatest weapon: wrestling. But this time it’s different. After the things Sean said, he doesn’t want to just “wrestle” him. -He wants to smash him into pieces. (And that can make him vulnerable). Sean caused upsets against Du plessi and Adesanya and has shown relative takedown resilience. His shots land and he does great damage with those jabs. He’s never faced a wrestler like this. But this time I think Khamzat won’t wrestle like he did with Du Plessi. It’s going to be a mix up. He wants to knock Sean out and make a statement. He wants to HURT him. I think he comes out striking. -Prove me wrong. There is no sense betting Khamzat with the risk involved of an upset. Because if Khamzat wants to stand and trade striking with Sean, it’s not going to be so easy. Khamzat winning this fight will make all right in the world of UFC. But if Sean wins?
