I am glad to announce that we will be editing a special issue for the journal of Health Information Science and Systems (@SpringerNature , Q1 in medical informatics) The team behind the special issue is constituted by myself as lead guest editor and my colleagues Sharib Ali (University of Leeds, United Kingdom), Christian Mata (Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Spain), Salvador Hinojosa (Tec de Monterrey) and Lucía Prieto Santamaría (Universidad Politecnica de Madrid). The special issue , entitled "Innovations in Artificial Intelligence for Medicine and Healthcare" will focus on the best papers of our IEEE Symposium for Computer Based Medical Systems @cbms_conference (CBMS) to be held in Guadalajara in June 26-28 2024, but will be open for more submissions!
