Interesting soprano in for a checkover. It's a very early Yamaha 62, with Yamaha 61 body features. A 'transitional' model. Never seen one before. Plays beautifully.

Interesting question on @CafeSaxophone about the verdigris article: what would happen if the acid was left on the horn? Not a lot, probably - but I don't need much of an excuse to set up another test to find the definitive answer...
