Tips for clinical/educational supervisors for trainee doctors for your induction/start of placement meetings: Aren’t you sick of the usual ‘nice to meet you, see you in 4 months’ approach? So are trainees! Here’s some questions I’ve developed over the years that you can ask:

Govt claim #FullPayRestoration is ‘unaffordable’ But actually the cost of FPR, £1bn, seen as a ‘rounding error’ especially with a treasury budget of >£1000 billion. The cost of not providing FPR? Doctors leave. Patients lose out on care. Waiting lists continue to rise.

Re Junior Doctor strikes, the 'if you don't like it, get another job / go elsewhere' crowd need to rapidly learn that doctors are doing exactly that. It's (partly) why you struggle to see a GP, or it takes months to see a specialist. We simply do not have enough of them.
