My parents are giving us $150k for a house and my husband wants to turn it down because they asked for a postnup My husband and I have been married for 4 years. We're buying a house in the Bay Area and my parents offered $150k for the down payment. My mom said they want some kind of legal documentation to make sure the money stays with me if something happens. My husband got really quiet when she mentioned it.
