Most Web3 products don't fail because they're bad. They fail because the right people never heard about them at the right time. Everyone talks about marketing strategy, but nobody talks about the foundation that makes it work and that's where Go- To Market (GTM) comes in. 🧵

If you are really serious about getting a job, this is a job-hunting hack you must know. If you want to lock in that interview and get that job, you need to read this carefully and apply it for results. The job market is very tough. Every job you apply for requires effort for you to stand out. When you see a job opening you want: → It will always come with a job description → There will be a section where you submit your resume and cover letter That resume and cover letter part is very important if you want to at least get to the interview stage. I really love how this shows their difference but most Web3 projects still treat marketers, SMMs, and CMs like the same role. That’s why they never build a community that actually lasts. Let’s break down how these roles actually work together in a real project. 🧵

I get asked a lot about the difference between audience, followers, and community. Today, I’ve broken down the differences, and this is especially important for SMMs, marketers, and CMs to understand. → Audience Your audience is made up of people your content speaks to. Not all of them follow you, many simply come across your content because it is targeted at them. → Followers Followers are people from that audience who choose to follow you, showing a deeper level of interest and connection. → Community A community is the deepest level of connection. It is a group of people who engage with you, support you, advocate for you, and are genuinely impacted by what you do. Marketers, Social Media Managers (SMMs), and Community Managers (CMs) all work with audiences, but with different goals. → Marketers focus on attracting the right target audience and driving conversions. → SMMs focus on creating content that attracts a specific audience, building visibility, and growing followership while strengthening the brand. → CMs focus on attracting a specific audience with the goal of nurturing relationships, increasing engagement, and building a strong, connected community for a brand or individual. No matter the role, the process is similar: → You attract your target audience → Turn them into followers → Grow them into a community By the way, how many of you truly understand the relationship between a marketer, an SMM, and a CM? I’d love to hear from you. I’ll be going through the quotes and comments. Let’s have it 🫳

When these structures are missing or not properly executed, the project is bond to fail. Next time you see a project growing steadily, just know they have a strong GTM strategy backing them.

→ Channels: Where do these people actually spend their time? → Messaging: What do you say and how do you say it? No more confusing tweets. Just clear storytelling that connects with your audience. → Launch plan: How do you plan to launch your project. Do you plan to try different methods like; ⇛ Beta test for core contributors ⇛ TGE for public ⇛ Post-TGE campaigns Each stage should be designed in such a way that it build trust.
