Cameroon Oncology Center

Dr. James A. Knight ll, a chief Radiation Oncologist Resident, from the University of Kentucky, arrived Cameroon Oncology Center, (COC) this morning and began work immediately with the other oncologists of the hospital. He is the very first resident to do residency at COC.

COC staff has continued to acquire talent development from internationally accredited and acclaimed resource persons from around the world. On Sept 1st 2023, the renowned President and CEO of Bio Ventures for Global Health, Jennifer Dent, will present a lecture at COC'S Hall.

Le 9 juillet 2023, une équipe de professionnels medical du Centre d'oncologie du Cameroun (COC) a fait une présentation et offert un dépistage gratuit du cancer aux femmes NADECO de l'antenne de Douala dans leur salle KOMCUDA située à Besengue.

Le Directeur Général Adjoint, Dr Godwin Nchinda du Centre International de Référence Chantal Biya (CIRCB) a effectué une visite officielle au Centre d'Oncologie du Cameroun ce matin 9 juillet 2023.

NEW AT COC!!! COC is launching an accelerated Palliative Radiotherapy treatment program. This program will reduce the cost of treatment and the duration of treatment to cancer patients with metastasis.

COC has been offering internship opportunities to both local and international Students from around. Corine MEDJOUDEM, a Medical Radiotherapy Technician student from La Haut Ecole de Santé de Genève, Switzerland, is currently doing internship at COC.

Cameroon Oncology Center (COC) received the Managing Director of Roche for Francophone Africa, Dr Eugene Nwoke. The visit was aimed at fostering the international partnership existing between COC and ROCHE.
