The funniest part about a lot of my tweets to me is that they are so multilayered that it leads to an entertaining soup of comments. People I defend getting overdefensive, people I am making fun of thinking I am on their side. Clueless ones in the middle. I love this outlet.

@gandalfsoda @lutyrannus DB's have always had demon dance that has built in mind's eye. Most weapons have attacks with it built in.

@CanadianAdim @lutyrannus Huh so that means portable third and 3u had the minds eye or was 4U the first time it was innately added to the game Honestly I lowkey forgot uh, they didn’t have minds eye in dos. I was too used to the floating point error (it felt strange to actually bounce once I patched it!)

@lutyrannus Yeah village and low rank aren't very hard with it taking a bit for high rank to get harder. MH4G hub high rank is also easier than MH4's lol.

@gandalfsoda @lutyrannus They did not get rid of Mind's Eye on Dual Blades in MH4, they do no have innate razor sharp like how they are in gen 1 and 2.

@lutyrannus I still need to go back and play base 4 it’s just the one thing that has been stopping me from doing so is the fact they got rid of minds eye on demon dance for dbs. But if it is really easy as they say I guess it wouldn’t matter 4 and MHG are the sole games I’ve ever played !

A common misconception in the MH community is that monsters are just unfair or unreadable the further back you go. This discourages people from going back. The reality is if you actually learn, you can watch this clip and see that this attack was actually clearly telegraphed.

@lutyrannus 10* quests are also not a reasonable difficulty for all players, and some players will prefer to fight 8* and 9* tempered investigations instead. Also paired with 9* and 10* monster not being very good if you are looking to farm for artian parts and decorations.

@lutyrannus I wouldn't discount investigation based endgame being neutered to much as sure 10* quests are event only but are limited what you can get from them as rarity 7 and 8 talismans are not the best 100% of the time where some weapons want rarity 6 talismans instead.

Reading my old takes of Wilds, honestly the game might have dropped a spot on my personal tier list of MH because of how many game systems they've neutered in updates. Plus the endgame is so much less immersive than it used to be. Most of the things I loved have been watered down

@lutyrannus With the melding pot additions they added you can now meld gogma artian materials using artian parts and Wyveria bloodstones opening up investigations to be an option to farm those materials.
