@surface Look at that beautiful little 'e' tucking under the 'w' and yet perfectly spaced against that 'l'. It's almost magical.

@surface It's very readable. It's not overstated. The kerning is spot-on (I hate it when letters don't work well together, and I haven't seen any bad combos with it). I use it for both professional and casual documents as well as signs in our café.

@surface Not a hoarder, yet, yes I have my Surface Studio laptop box. Yoga (7yo). XPS (11yo) And all 7 boxes from my Samsung and Lumia Phones. Original Surface tablets. Xboxes. Mice. Google home. I...I can't help myself. But, now that you've brought it up, it's probably time for a purge.

@EmmaBostian Thank you for sharing this and being open about it. My wife had similar struggles with all three kids, and it's hard to believe we don't surround parents to better care for their mental health. Sending you courageous thoughts and reckless joy in renewed passions and friendships!

I’ve been struggling with depression since my daughter was born 18 months ago. I’ve lost interest in hobbies and not kept up with friendships. But I’ve scheduled my first therapy appointment this week. It’s time to take care of myself. Hope y’all are doing well ❤️

But I am happy. I don't have to convince myself of that, not even for a moment. And every day I am learning better to live in this duality of watching a life I could have lived carry on, and living a life I love.

I miss my software community so, so much. There's a sadness when I see them gather. I no longer understand the inside jokes. I don't get to travel to see them. I am so happy for them, but they aren't part of my daily life anymore and I'm losing track of who and where they are.

I was a happy software developer and had a successful career. And then my wife started baking bread and croissants. A 🧵on changing careers.
