the final thing i will speak on from todays DRAMA (unless we hear back anything positive) is that the most common thing i’ve been hearing is ‘fighting fire with fire doesn’t work’ but neither does standing by and doing nothing whilst it burns your house down (yes i’m shakespeare) since i started streaming 5 years ago i have done endless talks at events, conferences, for online articles and news channels about what it is like being a woman in gaming, what i’m subjected to regularly, on a daily basis and gender based discrimination i receive on and off games. i have done my piece to try my very best to implement change and make it known how we feel and what we experience, fight my corner for the girlies AND GUESS WHAT not much has changed… because how ever we as woman deal with a situation is not the problem any more, you’re damned if you do AND you’re damned if you don’t… how ever you choose to deal with a situation will be scrutinised, picked apart and discredited by some bozo who simply think they’re better because you’re just a woman. this isn’t me playing the victim, i love being a woman and would not change what i do for the world AND i experience so many wonderful things and work with the most amazing people. i am simply stating my personal experience, how i feel and how it is currently for myself and other women in many fields. please girlies don’t stop being loud and proud of who you are, don’t stop supporting each other, don’t stop enjoying gaming and spaces you deserve and are allowed to be in because someone makes you feel like you shouldn’t be there. you deserve the space and enjoyment from gaming just as much as anyone else and don’t ever forget that x

of course this tweet has attracted all the sad and lonely twitter eboys who will NEVER understand how this feels and who continue to compare it to being toxic. i experience misogyny on this game on a daily basis, casually and not so casually. most of the time brushing off the cliche and predictable language used towards me on a silly, colourful, goofy video game JUST because some men are too emotional or insecure or threatened by my presence and refuse to share a space they feel entitled to. i have no issue with people talking shit to me, i am always down to beef and give back what people put out. i will never get toxic first and put my everything into playing a fair and good game, always trying my hardest to win and communicate.... HOWEVER i do not agree responding/standing up for yourself against misogyny/homophobia/racism etc are the same as just someone being toxic/being toxic back. these are things we live and deal with on a daily basis and are dealing with literal crimes being committed towards certain minorities currently and historically. we have every right to stand up for ourselves AND get frustrated by the system literally penalising you for it and letting the instigator get off lightly. some of you men will never understand this as you have never experienced this or felt this, you'll only compare it to what you DO understand and that is sad. please go and watch documentaries and read books and educate yourselves on other peoples lives and how they are impacted by your actions. if you, in 2026 cannot be creative with your insults and still choose to use language that is harmful and has greater underlying connotations in a period of time where crime against women is at an all time high, you are the problem and you do not deserve any respect or silence/muting from me. you will hear what i have to say and you wont like it.
