With Advent starting next week, staff and pupils have taken part in Reconciliation sessions to best prepare ourselves for the season. We’ve spent time with prayer stations and had the opportunity for confession thanks to our amazing priests! @RCBirmingham @Chaplaincy_KYT

Today, 60 of our Year 8 students (girls and boys) visited @MakeUK_ to see a live workplace in action! They learned about careers in manufacturing, engineering, and apprenticeships. It was an inspiring trip as we continue to break stereotypes and encourage more girls into STEM!

Our sleep out for #stbasils raised a huge £2674!! 25 pupils + staff spent the night sleeping out so young people in Birmingham don’t have to - well done to everyone involved! @Chaplaincy_KYT @RCBirmingham

Today we said goodbye to the famous old wind turbine to make way for the new covered MUGA, due to open in December :)

Our Y7 & Y8 Service Team have worked so hard today supporting @ColumbansUK! We’ve helped plant more than 500 trees and started work on a path around the grounds whilst considering our call to be stewards of our common home 🌲 ✨ @Chaplaincy_KYT @RCBirmingham

We’ve had the most beautiful Reconciliation week ahead of the first week of Advent! Pupils took part in a liturgy & a number of prayer stations with the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We are always so inspired by the faith of our pupils ✨@Chaplaincy_KYT

Our Service team have been busy this week!! On Monday our Y9/10 visited @ColumbansUK in Solihull and helped clear some green space ready for a new prayer labyrinth and lots of other exciting things! We’re so proud of their servant hearts 💕 ✨ @RCBirmingham @Chaplaincy_KYT

This week we celebrated our Y7 settling in Mass! They’ve made a beautiful start to their time at CW & we’re looking forward to the next few years! How apt was our first reading? “and you will shine in the world like bright stars because you are offering it the word of life.” ✨

What a Friday! We started the day with an optional 8am Mass and then our amazing Mission team spent the day with Beccy @Chaplaincy_KYT ✨ We reflected on our Mission Week in school and how we are now the missionaries in our school with amazing stories to tell! @RCBirmingham
