Here, you can see the societies where cross-sectional data collection took place. Wave 1: 8,998 people in 32 countries; Wave 2: 6,917 people in 29 countries (19 countries represented in both waves) (Fig. 1)

@awiezel and colleagues (@michael_barlev, Kenrick, Martos) found that although people stereotype leaders as being dominant men, they strongly prefer prestigious leaders and slightly prefer female leaders #SPSP2022
