What a journey it has been for our u18s. Yesterday these girls played their last ever competitive game for the Club and they saved the best for last, running out 4-0 winners to finish on top of the @CheshireWYFL u18s Championship Girls you have made the club so proud. ❤️

Not necessarily backwards It means being patient in one area of the pitch to draw the other team in before we skip stations Many of us see soccer as a game of rondos of various sizes & shapes that’s constantly changing 3v1, 4v2, 5v3, 6v5, etc etc EXAMPLE: If we have a situation in a game where it’s 4v1 in the back, we know that there are more of them down field than there are of us & Of course we want to be closer to their goal so… We move the ball around…. Maybe forward one station, back one station, over one station etc to invite them into a 4v2, 5v3, and then maybe when we get it to 5v4 we then can see another area of the pitch where we have a better numerical & positional advantage such as a 3v1 out on a wing in an advanced position So we switch it out to that more advantageous position Hope this makes sense in words without pictures @SRUSA_Official

As I watch thousands of 🇺🇸 youth ⚽️ matches… The concept of inviting pressure to come into 🔑 areas of the pitch in order to exploit other areas, needs to be taught more Patience & rhythm of play Systematically tearing a defense apart instead of out running them is 💰 @SRUSA_Official

The last of 3 really good first aid sessions with Reach First Aid. Tutor Roger says “ All coaches have been so engaged and it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It’s refreshing how seriously the club take the safety of their players by organising these types of sessions”
