Matt Fitzpatrick was fed up with the pace of play during Sunday's final round. He even complained to a rules official about his playing partner. "That was really frustrating. It was slow today. I felt like there was a lot of stop/start. Yeah, just, you know, just not ready. When you're not ready to play a golf shot it gets frustrating after awhile. "Particularly when you playing well yourself or you're in contention or whatever it is. There's definitely, you know, it definitely knocks you out of your rhythm."

@golfcourses101 Good players, (elite and low handicap) will always avoid these bunkers knowing how tough a shot it is from that distance so unfortunately, generally only higher handicapped players find themselves in these bunkers and, as a less skilled player, have very little chance of success!

What do you think of fairway bunkers that are 30-50 yards from the green?

If you have any interest in how WHS is being received in Ireland, this is ‘required reading’. Golf Ireland has published preliminary findings of the survey they offered to all clubs after they initiated the 85% handicap option. However, many clubs did not even bother to trial it.
