i beat mewgenics which means it’s time to start achievement hunting

my favorite boss dialogue in mewgenics is queen hippo saying something like “my missing nipple? hahaha… guess i got hungry!” I’ve been thinking about it a lot

do i have to play tboi to understand the deep mewgenics lore

i'm paying like 12 bucks a month for humble choice when every other month the games are all stuff i would never play like what is this

@Joltzdude139 the animation the cat does indicates this is the “good” outcome, i’m assuming actually getting the genie would require the “super good” outcome. i’m not sure what triggers that specifically but since the game uses dice rolls i assumed a nat 20

Mewgenics is rigged. This is the 3rd time in a row I didn't get the good event with Super Luck+.

@TheButtercupRat @ConfessionsMew also mutations are absolutely not necessary, they make the game easier. i have done full runs of all acts with 0 mutations going in and been successful

@TheButtercupRat @ConfessionsMew my point is you can replay act 1 to get furniture with appeal. op’s initial complaint was that mutations trivialize the game. they want a harder experience, which is exactly what you would get by using strays

@RpntdBlueChan @ConfessionsMew i don’t think(?) minigames would be added as DLC, iirc the minigames were the main gameplay before they restarted development and focused on turn-based combat so they’d be kinda redundant now

@ConfessionsMew Iirc, the NPCs were all gonna be different minigames instead of upgrades, I’ve heard that the mini games are planned for future dlc as they got too big

@TheButtercupRat @ConfessionsMew it is probably very much possible to do everything with mediocre strays too, just depends on your luck with items and level ups you get along the way

@TheButtercupRat @ConfessionsMew Balance is hard to quantify for this game since so much of it depends on luck, but in my experience 90% of a cat’s power comes from level-ups and initial stats are more of a “cherry on top” Maybe i got lucky but i swept act 1 with below-average cats, which can earn furniture

@ConfessionsMew and for run modifiers you can bring quest items, there are a LOT of options

@ConfessionsMew the crazy thing is you can just do this by dumping all your cats and items and relying on strays
