@Linagarasu @chara_betty Yh see It is side hobby for you It is something you have knowledge in and tools for (and experience) You should expect average consumer to be less equiped than yourself When making robots I bought a lot of stuff I never touched otherwise + I had to be taught to remove soldering

@Cellieohn @chara_betty The Laws in Europe are just about the battery. And the battery is very easily removeable. Sure, strong adhesive, but nothing you wouldn't be able to solve. A glued battery might as well be an industy standard and I never had a problem removing one even tho its just a side hobby.

@Cellieohn @yt_8Pit I think assuming this is done on purpose for the fact of profit is wrong This is a handheld at the end of the day, the adhesive may be a bit overkill but by no means so astronomically bad to assume it's done on purpose or even should be counted as a mistake in the first place

@Linagarasu @chara_betty I worked with robots and I can say with honesty that an average person doesn't have the tools to remove adhesive and soldering without damaging the product in the process So I'd say yes it is hard And sources such as ifixit show other problems I wasn't even familiar with

@chara_betty Because that forces average person to spend more than they have to repair device used It is called planned obsolescence for a reason

That is a choice and there was a reason behind it You don't just wake up to accidentally taking advantage of consumers
