Originally recorded for Led Zeppelin II in 1969, Ramble On was written by Robert Plant and Jimmy Page.
The song blends folk, rock, and adventure-themed lyrics inspired by The Lord of the Rings, with references to Mordor, Gollum, and Middle-earth.
Remarkably, Led Zeppelin never performed the complete song live during their original career, the full version finally debuted at the 2007 O2 reunion concert.

The song was inspired by her affair with the band's lighting director, but she told John McVie it was about her dog to avoid trouble.
