@marshallpruett @JusticeBrosInc @TOMotorsports Editing photos from the Indy test and noticed something hanging beneath the attenuator on Palou's car. It was like that on all my photos from both days, and none of the other 32 cars had it, to my knowledge. Can you give some insight into this device?

Alex Palou becomes the 14th person in motorsports history to have won both the Indianapolis 500 and Grand Prix of Long Beach. Only two drivers (Unser Jr 1994, Castroneves 2001) have ever won both races in the same season. Palou could join them next month, as a back-to-back Indy 500 winner. #IndyCar #GPLongBeach #AGPLB

His 2.8 average finish here is second only to his 1.6 average at Laguna Seca. 🔑 Power: started on front row nine times, has two wins, 12 top-fives, and 216 laps led. 🔑 Dixon: nine podium finishes at Barber but has never won. He has made Firestone Fast Six 12 times here but has never started on the front row. Dixon is also the only driver to complete every lap in all 15 races. #INDYCAR #INDYBHM

My favorite part is the role Kay Bignotti played. Tony Hulman wasn't planning to change the "Gentlemen, start your engines" command because the mechanics actually start the engines. Kay was the daughter of three-time winner Louis Meyer, wife of legendary George Bignotti, and had a USAC mechanic's license.
