When to preheat the oven? This is a good point from ⁦@we_are_food⁩. Most recipes ask us to preheat the oven at the start yet most modern ovens only take 5-10 minutes to preheat. This convention is so deeply ingrained, I can’t imagine a recipe that doesn’t start ‘preheat’...
