Maybe show Tywin but book Tywin has some bs Batman plot nonsense levels of scheming. He sends a minor lord's daughter to seduce Rob Stark, maybe drug him, while he is wounded from battle, knowing Rob will marry her instead of having a bastard child because of his psychological hang up of Ned Stark having a bastard son, the only stain on his father's honor, thus breaking his pledge to Walter Frey, thus allowing him to convince Frey to murder Rob.

Can we stop pretending Tywin is a tactical genius? He got outplayed by a 15-year-old so badly he had to resort to a wedding invitation.

I love Tywin as a character but even I can’t give him credit for Robb’s mistake The books seemed to clearly setup Robb as a tactical genius one step ahead of the old guard. -He outmaneuvers Tywin in the field -He captures the Kingslayer -He scolds Edmure for not following his exact commands after setting up the perfect trap Robb failed because of his lack of experience handling interpersonal matters. -He fell for a pretty girl, lost the Freys -Executed Rickard, lost the Karstarks -Trusted Catelyn blindly lost the Kingslayer -Trusted Theon blindly lost the North -Trusted the Freys… Brilliant but rash. Clever but rigid. I love Robb and I think he will still make his mark with his will but I think clearly his undoing was entirely his own. The spicers were traders, it strikes me that perhaps Sybell is meant to be seen as opportunistic and saw an opportunity but I’m not giving Tywin credit for this one.

George R.R. Martin on the brilliance of The Lord of the Rings: "As I read Return of the King, I didn’t want it to be over. That last book blew my mind, particularly the scouring of the Shire. I didn’t like that when I was in high school. The story’s over, and they destroyed the ring — but he didn’t write 'and now they lived happily ever after.' Instead, they went home and home was all [expletive] up. The evil guys had burned down some of the woods; a fascist-like tyranny had taken over. That seemed anticlimactic to me. Frodo didn’t live happily ever after or marry a nice girl hobbit. He was permanently wounded; he was damaged. As a 13 year old, I couldn’t grasp that. Now, every time I re-read The Lord of the Rings — which I do, every few years — I appreciate the brilliance of the scouring of the Shire. That’s part of what lifts the book from all its imitators. There was a real cost to Tolkien’s world. There’s a tremendous sadness at the end of Lord of the Rings, and it has a power. I think that’s partly why people are still reading and re-reading these books." Was it a mistake to not include the scouring in Peter Jackson's films?

Imagine having something that looks like a graveyard in your room as your bed frame. This type of design is common in some parts of Nigeria (I won’t disclose where). I just hope they don’t bring it to Lagos.

As a woman, the easiest way to know a man who genuinely loves you is he's more of a breast guy than a nyash guy. Nyash men will cheat on you with the next big nyash they see but boobs men are loyal. As long as he can sleep on it every night, he doesn't crave for any other woman. Nyash men are lustful men who always want more while boobs men are loyal and content by nature. Do with this information as you please.
