My personal opinion on playing style Chelsea SHOULD have is leaning towards an Iraola type. High, aggressive press and non-stop intensity. However, the squad we have built up until this point doesn't really suit it. It also requires STRONG depth if we really want to compete – which I don't think we have at this point. And the point I've been trying to hammer down for the last week: the new coach needs to be someone the players immediately respect and someone they have full belief in to bring them to the top of the world. Iraola isn't that guy, imo. The perfect coach in that sense would be Jürgen Klopp but I don't see a world where he joins Chelsea.

Neto was good yesterday. Was a genuine 1v1 threat, carried the ball on transition, worked hard off it and actually made runs in behind a lot. I love Neto to be making those runs constantly because few players can actually catch up to him when he does that. Got an important assist too. it was a mature performance if I'm praising in isolation.
