I'm dying at work. ADHD is rough bc caffeine is making me more sleepy instead of giving me energy. ❓Why does the opposite happen if you have #ADHD? -- the paradox occurs because caffeine increases dopamine a little. So it balances the lower baseline levels for ADHD brains. You end up feeling calm and it can help focus or like me I guess, where I'm drowsy as fuck. -- I'm gonna test completely removing one type of #depression med that I've been on since 2021. Should be fun. It's known to be one of the hardest withdrawals. I'll test it this weekend. If it's too much, I have a plan to get back on the lowest dose and alternate. I just wanna get off of as much meds as possible. If brain treatment really helps me, I'd rather do that every few years or whatever than take shit daily.
